Ka's Bio

Following a successful career with The Staubach Company, a commercial real
estate services firm, Ka Cotter leverages her knowledge and experience to the
benefit of high growth companies, small and large businesses, community
organizations and individuals.

Mrs. Cotter was part of the leadership team that grew The Staubach Company from a local commercial real estate firm starting in 1978 to a $500 million multinational firm that merged with Jones Lang LaSalle in July of 2008. Her skills include corporate real estate, construction, sales and sales management, growth strategies for service firms, corporate governance, corporate culture, and professional coaching.

She served in multiple leadership roles at The Staubach Company including Broker, Regional Manager, National Sales Manager, Division President, Executive Vice President and Vice Chairman. She has a degree in Business Education and post graduate classes in finance, management, corporate governance, commercial real estate and professional coaching.

Mrs. Cotter has successfully served on the following corporate boards through her successful sale/merger or change of management. In addition to corporate board service, Mrs. Cotter is active in the non profit community serving as Chair of The UTD Center for BrainHealth Advisory Board, the advisory boards of The Perot Museum, 4wordwomen.com, WiNGS for Women (formerly YWCA) and the UTD President’s Council as well as active membership in International Women’s Forum and Commercial Real Estate Women. Mrs. Cotter also continues her
passion for mentoring and coaching professionals to help them reach their full potential.
